Mum

Mum is coming to visit in July for three whole months. It is funny because I know many women who would die if they had to have their mother in-law over to stay for one week yet alone that long... but not me... heck... I am flying her out here! That is how much I adore Geoff's mummy, she is the such a classy woman and a darling grandma to Milo. I feel so lucky to have her as my mum. She has so many wonderful qualities and I could just kiss her for what a perfect man she raised to be my husband and Milo's father. This is a little digital scrapbook page I did for her for mother's day. After all how fun is it for a Yankie girl to have someone they can call, "Mum".

Milo's world

It is such a blast to be a part of Milo's world. He is so inquisitive and wide-eyed. I sometimes wish he would always stay so innocent and just so.... well... baby. What a joy children are. He lights up my life.

Life-time of Smiles

Milo mate, you started giggling this past week. So freakin’ cute I could die. You are just over 3 months old. The first thing to make you laugh was when you and I were home alone (unfortunately there was no one there to share the moment with) and I started bouncing you up and down while I was laying on my back and you were sitting on my tummy. I laughed so hard I was going to burst, which only made you laugh more. So much fun! Then yesterday you caught your reflection in the mirror and starting giggling at yourself. Linny, Will, and daddy where all there to confirm that you are officially a laugher. I love to see your eyes light up. Sometimes you sad faces make me smile too. But only because they are so cute. I hate it when you are unhappy, but your little quivering lips as you pout you make my heart melt. It reminds me of how a puppy gets begging eyes. Your expressions and your faces are what I live for. I’m so thrilled about the life-time of smiles I will share with you.
